🔍 What Is This?

A 24-colour automotive paint set built around real car factory colours — 8 solid body colours and 16 metallic/pearl colours with micro-pigment pearl effect for a genuine automotive finish. Thinner and cleaner are included in the box.

All colours are pre-thinned and ready to spray through a 0.3–0.5mm airbrush. The RapidAir™ formula gives these water-based acrylics the laydown behaviour of a solvent lacquer — no beading on plastic, no sag, no uneven metallic coverage.

⚠️ Heads Up

Shake before every use — pearl and metallic pigments settle more heavily than standard colours. Inadequate shaking is the main cause of streaky metallic finish, not a paint defect.

Clear coat required for full gloss — these paints lay the foundation for an automotive finish but require a gloss clear coat on top to achieve the mirror-like depth of a real car paint job.

Test solvent clear coats first — allow full acrylic cure before applying a solvent-based varnish. Test on a spare piece to check compatibility before committing to the model.
