Fender Precision Special / 1982

This is a used 1982 Fender "Precision Special."
Since it's over 40 years old, it seems fair to call it vintage, but I'm not sure.
However, I seem to have read somewhere that anything up to the '70s is considered vintage, so I'll classify it as used.

This model is a Precision Bass with very '80s specifications.
It features a 2-band EQ active preamp.
It can be said to be a pioneer of Fender's active bass series, such as the American Deluxe.
The treble and bass equalizers offer 15dB of cut and boost, allowing for a fairly wide range of adjustment, allowing for very aggressive sound creation.
You can also bypass the preamp and switch to passive mode, so you don't have to worry if the battery runs out.

The body is made of ash, like P-basses of the same era. It weighs around 5kg, resulting in a tight bass tone.
The neck is quite thin for a P-bass.

As is common with these models, this "Precision Special" was only produced from 1980 to 1983 and then discontinued.
There's something romantic about that, too.

The construction is also very good, so it seems that quite a few people remove the preamp and use it passively.
The gold parts and matching headstock look really cool, and I think this is a hidden gem.==============
This item has undergone basic maintenance and cleaning, so it's in perfect condition for immediate play!

[Condition] The exterior shows scratches, dents, and some paint damage.

[Truss Rod] Not OK, Closed

[Fret Condition] Approximately 80% remaining. No buzzing or clogging. In good condition!

[Nut Width] Actual measurement: Approximately 42 mm
