Yuzen washi (also known as chiyogami) is a celebrated traditional Japanese decorative paper. Each sheet is hand-screened by skilled artisans in Kyoto using techniques passed down through generations. The vivid patterns — inspired by kimono textiles, nature and Japanese cultural motifs — make every sheet a small work of art.
