Step back in time with this authentic Victorian double edge dagger, a stunning piece for collectors and history enthusiasts alike. Crafted around the 1850s, the iron or steel blade(not sure which) measures 11.75 inches and features a plain edge, indicative of its originality and historical value. The sterling silver handle adds a touch of elegance, reflecting the craftsmanship of the era.

This original item is a testament to the quality and durability of Victorian-era cutlery. Its unique design is not only a functional weapon but also a work of art, with the silver handle providing a comfortable grip and a visually striking contrast to the metal blade and brass guard. This antique dirk or smallsword is a true collector's item, exuding vintage charm and historical significance.

No hallmarks of any kind that I can see. Probably custom made as the blade looks like the end of a sword. Total length is 17 inches. Handle acid tested for sterling silver, which is obviously weighted. Very unique piece that you will want in your collection. See pictures for full description of condition. Sold 'as is'.
