New, molded from resin, this is a small cameo pin in BLACK color with WHITE color background, mounted on - - round silver rhodium backing with filigree design, 1-3/8" diameter. Cameo itself is 1" long x 3/4" wide or 25 x 18 mm. Clasp pin glued horizontally on the back.

The theme of African-American women in cameos is RARE, there is mention of this in the book "Cameos Old & New (2nd Edition) by Anna M. Miller, G.G. (I recommend the book for anyone collecting cameos).
