I believe this is an Autolite ignition capacitor or ‘condenser’. However, I’m not certain this is correct.

It was included in a box of parts removed from 1940s-1950s Studebaker, Chevrolet, Dodge & Ford vehicles. It has not been tested and so I am listing it ‘for parts or not working’.

I’m not sure how one determines the year(s), make or model(s) of vehicles this part fits. Any help would be appreciated.
