Description: Original First World War trench wristwatch dated 1915 with sterling silver case hallmarked for London and sponsor mark GS (George Stockwell & Co). Swiss 15-jewel manual wind movement. The watch winds, sets and runs but currently stops after approximately 1–2 hours, so it will require a service or adjustment to run reliably. This is very common for watches of this age and has not been fully serviced by me. Condition is honest for a 110-year-old military period watch with age-related wear to the dial, case and crystal as shown in the photos. The case is solid sterling silver and all hinges close correctly. Fitted with a period-style leather strap which suits the watch well. A genuine WW1 era piece with good collector appeal. Sold as described due to age. Please see photos for condition. Thanks.
