Product Description

Add an energy-efficient LED lighting feature to your new construction project with this Halo 6 in. Aluminum Recessed Lighting Housing. This housing features an air-tight construction and may be installed with direct contact to insulation. This housing must be paired with the Halo ML706830 LED module (sold separately) and the 494WB06 or 493WBS06 LED trims (sold separately) for a complete LED system.

Air-Tite rated design meets restricted air flow code requirements which prevents airflow between attic and living areas and saves on both heating and air conditioning costs
Compatible with a wide variety of 6 in. LED retrofit trims but is best with Halo quality RL, RA, SLD, LT, SMD and ML series models (Bulb free with some having a 45 year LED lifespan)
Durable connector system provides high efficacy code compliance when used with Halo LED retrofit trims and modules
LED module connection: this non-screw-base LED connection preserves the high efficacy rating of the luminaire
Energy star, title 24 and IECC qualified when used with select LED Halo trim modules
Pass-N-Thru bar hangers: fixture has pre-installed nails that easily installs in regular lumber, engineered lumber and laminated beams
Got-nail: pre-installed nail easily installs in regular lumber, engineered lumber and laminated beams
