I refurbish vintage sets and use original parts to ensure every set is complete and in very good vintage condition ready for its new owner. The sets vary in condition and the set in the photos is not the set you will receive but it represents the likely condition. Any sets that do not meet my high quality standards are just used for parts to complete sets in better condition. 

I've sold many of these sets, and this set is far better than the average set and is fully checked and complete. It is used and does show some of its age.

Buccaneer, “The swashbuckling game of piracy” requires players to sail the high seas in search of treasure while fending off other buccaneers who are ready to seize your gold, rubies, pearls, diamonds and barrels of rum.

The idea of the game is to collect treasure to

make points. A player may obtain treasure by three methods:

1) Sailing to Treasure Island and turning up Chance cards.

2) Sailing to other ports and trading.

3) By attacking other ships at sea.

This is a board game that doesn't use dice and features very nice treasure pieces. The diamonds, rubies, and pearls look like small jewels. The way cards work for ship movement and combat is a very clever mechanic, years ahead of its time.
