The CURT class 3 trailer hitch is the most common type of trailer hitch installed on full-size pickup trucks and SUVs. It is also popular on crossovers and mid-size trucks. That is because the class 3 packs the punch of a heavyweight hitch while still staying light on its feet. CURT class 3 hitches range in gross trailer weight capacity from 3,500 lbs. to an impressive 8,000 lbs. and offer a comparable tongue weight capacity ranging from 350 to 800 lbs. These hitches are engineered to be strong and capable, having a quality steel frame in round tube or square tube form. Class 3 trailer hitches are able to tow most standard size trailers, including utility trailer, boat trailers, campers, single-horse livestock trailers and trailers designed to haul ATVs, personal watercraft, snowmobiles and other similar recreational vehicles. This type of hitch uses a 2 inch x 2 inch receiver tube opening to accept a ball mount or towing accessory with an equivalent shank. One special feature about the class 3 that is not found in classes 1 or 2 is its compatibility with a weight distribution hitch. When used in combination with a WD hitch, the class 3s weight ratings increase, giving it more towing power. The gross trailer weight capacity range can increase to 12,000 lbs. and the tongue weight capacity to 1,200 lbs. on some applications. A CURT custom vehicle-to-trailer wiring harness (also called a T-connector) is a simple, plug-and-play electrical device that eliminates the need for cutting, splicing and soldering when installing vehicle-to-trailer wiring. Most vehicles do not come ready to tow. Unless your vehicle has a towing package, it is probably not equipped with a trailer wiring connector. This is where CURT's custom vehicle-to-trailer wiring harnesses come into play. Custom wiring harnesses plug into your vehicle's electrical system using original equipment (OEM) connectors. Leading the industry in towing electrical products, CURT offers two options for custom vehicle-to-trailer wiring. Their custom wiring harnesses use two or more OEM connectors to plug into your vehicle's electrical system, typically at the tail light housing. The harness provides an additional connector in the form of a 4-way or 5-way socket that branches off to allow the trailer to be plugged into the vehicle's power system. The other custom wiring option is their custom wiring connectors. These use a single original equipment connector to plug into a specific socket provided by the vehicle. Automotive manufacturers design some vehicles to be easily equipped for towing by supplying a socket, integrated into the vehicle's electrical system, to readily accept a custom wiring connector.

If there is any damage to the item during shipment,
please try to report the item to the shipper as being received damaged and deny
shipment. If you receive the item damaged and are not able to inform the
shipping company before they leave, please contact us immediately so we may file
a claim. Photos are always required for damage claims. Box damage does not qualify alone as a damage claim.

Returns

Our return policy is straightforward and customer friendly.
You can feel confident shopping with us. We will take any item back within 30
days of purchase, as long as it is within the constraints of the manufacturer's
warranty return policy (which we are obligated to honor) and the following
conditions are met:



The item must be in original, unused condition and
must be returned in the original packaging.



We are unable to accept any item that has been
installed and/or damaged. In addition, we cannot accept returns that are
not in the original packaging. These are constraints set by the product
manufacturers, and we are obligated to honor their return policies. Items
returned in poor condition or having parts missing will incur a restocking fee. The
item return label must have an RMA# supplied by us or the return might not be accepted.



For standard shipping items, the return fees are free, and a return label will be provided. LTL freight shipping items are the customer's responsibility, unless there is an item defect and a valid claim is filed with photos and all requested information.



EXCHANGES: At this time, eBay does not have a system in place to allow exchanges. On some occasions, we can replace items if we receive proper claim information and the customer fulfills all necessary requests for a replacement. These requirements will be communicated through eBay messaging.
