Import Tax & Duty Rules (Online Purchases)

As of August 29, 2025, the U.S. government has ended the duty-free $800 de minimis exemption. This means that all imports, regardless of value, may be subject to duties and fees may still incur postal, courier, or customs processing fees if not shipped with EIS.
United Kingdom (UK)
VAT is charged on all orders over £15.
Customs Duty: May apply if the order value is over £135.
Antique items: Import Duty usually 0% and 5% VAT
European Union (EU)
VAT: Charged on every order (no free limit).
Customs Duty: Added only if the order value is over €150.
Australia
No taxes or duty if the order value is AU $1,000 or less.
Over AU $1,000: 10% GST plus possible duty (usually around 5%).
Shipping Cost & eBay International Shipping Fees (EIS)
Sellers do not set shipping prices. All shipping rates are calculated by eBay based on package details and destination.
All international shipping fees, import charges, duties, and taxes for eBay International Shipping (EIS) orders are determined and collected by eBay. Sellers have no control over these charges. EIS includes all import costs. UPS collect any outstanding fee's due at delivery destination.
