The Arcade Legend, Still in the Wrapper

Forty-plus years in shrink wrap and this frog never made it across the road. Factory sealed Frogger for the Mattel Intellivision, published by Parker Brothers under license from Sega Enterprises Inc. This copy has been sitting untouched since Reagan's first term.

What This Is

This is the Parker Brothers home console port of Konami and Sega's iconic 1981 arcade hit. The Intellivision version was one of several home ports Parker Brothers released after acquiring the cartridge license from Sega. Compatible with all Intellivision-family hardware including TandyVision and Sears Super Video Arcade.

What Is Included

Why It Matters

Sealed Intellivision games from the early 1980s are increasingly scarce. Frogger is one of the most recognized arcade titles ever made, and the Intellivision port is a sought-after piece for platform collectors and sealed game collectors alike. Parker Brothers Intellivision titles from this era are a finite supply that only shrinks over time. A graded copy of this title sold at Heritage Auctions for $1,680. This copy is ungraded but remains in original factory shrink wrap - a candidate for professional grading if desired.
