Overstock from my lab. These special cases were custom made for my lab. They are made from aluminum and built like a tank
to protect the valuable Mitutoyo M26 objectives or similar thread
objectives. You thread the original objective to bottom of cap and then
thread the cap in the case. Total protection against a nuke head on! Thread compatiblity: Mitutoyo M26 threads (also compatible with Olympus M26).
Specs:121 mm long with cap on, 38mm inner Ø (which expands to around 45mm). 49mm outer Ø. Weights (including cap) 152gr. Good up to 105mm body length (thread not included). This is the "A" value that you can see in the last picture. THEREFORE, it is compatible with ALL Mitutoyo's series, including the "SL" series (the longest objective A value is 89mm).
