Thought to be an Indian milk jug and sugar bowl with no hallmarks as is often the case. Possibly date to C 1900.

So possibly 800 purity. Fine quality with beautiful repousse decoration depicting farm work.  Has been appraised by a jewellers as silver but not tested, the jeweller commented on the fine quality.

Has come from a family collection handed down over generations amongst other silver items which are hallmarked.

Jug weighs 124.91 g , sugar 81.14 g but are far too fine quality to scrap. Jug stands approx 80 mm tall to handle top and 120 mm across tip to handle.

In good condition , unpolished by me

I am selling as silver, if you think otherwise or have tested otherwise you can return it for a refund.

More the same available from the same collection. Inspection on-site welcome.

Delightful and exquisite set, good luck.
