Sonic 1990 TRM-Custom / WHT with OHC (1990) (no260216) [VINTAGE] An extremely rare, early Sonic with a triple-digit serial number is here! This is a custom-made model crafted by Yutaka Takeda, renowned for his book, "The Complete Guide to Electric Guitar Mechanisms." "Sonic" is a guitar and parts brand released by Ramtrick Company, Inc., founded in Kawaguchi City, Saitama Prefecture in 1983. With the aim of "creating reliable instruments that are always close to artists," the company actively releases guitars that offer uncompromising detail, high-performance parts, and maintenance tools. The Complete Guide to Electric Guitar Mechanisms Bass Magazine Maintenance Book Guitar Magazine Maintenance Book A Guide to Awakening Your Guitar Potential for Stratocaster Owners A Guide to Awakening Your Guitar Potential for Les Paul Owners These books have become bestsellers. In particular, "The Complete Edition of Electric Guitar Mechanism (Focusing on Electrical Themes)," published in 1992, is still read by active repairmen and musicians interested in repair more than 20 years later. Sonic guitars are made with the aim of "not leaving any variables or energy in the guitar" and "allowing parts to live in harmony without fighting with each other." From the position of the screw holes where parts are attached to the mechanical relationship when the strings are strung, the guitar is precisely set up with the utmost attention to detail, resulting in a stable condition and less chance of tuning going out of tune. Sonic's craftsmanship, which allows for comfortable playability in a variety of situations from practice to performance, and is said to be "precisely impossible to achieve with mass production" and "attention to detail down to the smallest of screws," is astounding. This guitar is one of their earliest custom-made guitars, and of course it is not listed in the catalog from that time, but its finish and condition are outstanding. The potentiometers are '87s, but the pockets say 1990, so I'm assuming it's a '90s guitar. The 1-volume pickups are a Duncan in the neck pickup and a DiMarzio in the bridge pickup, tuned for distortion. The rod is still in good condition, and about 70% of the frets remain, so it's still in great working order. In fact, it easily surpasses current guitars. If you're interested, be sure to check it out.Body: AlderNeck: MapleFretboard: MapleFrequency Pickup: DuncanRear Pickup: DimarzioWith Hard CaseSerial Number: 0440Weight: 3.3kg -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-
