This is a perfect replating candidate project for the '55 enthusiast, probably a Belaire stock that wants one of the rarest dealer installed options on his/her rod. I took a few hours to polish this high overrider off my Idaho '55 to see what the condition is. It's great, but needs a rechrome for show/high driver quality. You will see numerous scratches in the chrome, but few pitting on the show sides. The chroming process will remove the non-showing rusted areas, don't waste your time. ;0)I can't use this on my Two Lane Blacktop tribute, but you can on your rig.I priced it for replating consideration. This is just for the cross bar with original hardware, but I will throw in the over-riders for shipping, say $20 on another deal. One is pretty rough. Thanks for reading and good luck.
