This 1/43 scale Spark model car from Macau-based miniature car manufacturer MINIMAX is a masterpiece meticulously recreated down to the smallest detail. This model car recreates the concept car of the ID.R the electric car Volkswagen entered in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in June 2018. Its incredible speed is evident in the 2018 event where the ID.R set a new course record of 7 minutes 57.148 seconds far surpassing the previous record of 8 minutes 13.878 seconds and R. Dumas won the overall victory. This car has written a new chapter in the history of electric vehicles. The ID.R is the only racing version of Volkswagen's ID. electric vehicle brand. Powered by a lithium-ion battery and two electric motors it boasts a system output of 500kW (680hp). This racing car is packed with technologies that Volkswagen plans to incorporate into future production EVs. In the summer of 2019 the car will compete on the Nürburgring Nordschleife Nordschleife in Germany with special specifications. This is another machine that is expected to break records. This product is a miniature replica of the ID.R concept car. It does not include sponsor decals or race numbers.
