Big corporations dictate base sizes to sell you their products. We think that's backwards. Your models, your army, your choice. OBS keeps expanding with sizes that hobbyists actually ask for - not what some company decides you need this edition.

💡 75mm fills the gap between 60mm and 80mm - ideal for larger characters, small monsters, and centrepiece models that need room to breathe without going full monster-base territory.

75mm round bases - generous size for larger models without jumping to full monster bases. Plenty of room for scenic basing and dynamic poses.

Why 75mm? Sometimes 60mm feels tight for a big character or small monster, but 80mm+ looks excessive. 75mm is that sweet spot - room for a proper scenic base without overwhelming smaller models.

⚠️ About FDM Printing & Layer Lines

What are seams? Every FDM print has a visible line where each layer starts and ends - this is called a "seam" or "Z-seam." It's a thin vertical line running from top to bottom of the base edge. This is not a defect - it's a natural characteristic of the printing process.

Layer lines: FDM printing builds objects layer by layer, so you may see subtle horizontal lines on the surface. These are completely normal and largely disappear once you apply primer and paint.

💡 Tip: Most hobbyists find these details invisible after priming. If you're doing display-quality work and want glass-smooth surfaces, resin bases might suit you better - but for gaming armies, these work brilliantly.

🛠️ Quick Prep Tips

1. Wash before priming - A quick soap & water rinse removes any residue and helps primer stick better.
2. Use a good primer - Spray primers like Vallejo, Army Painter, or Citadel work great. One light coat is usually enough.
3. Sand if needed - For ultra-smooth finish, 400-600 grit sandpaper before priming. Usually not necessary for tabletop standard.
4. Basing materials - Texture paste, sand, static grass, tufts all adhere well. PVA and super glue both work.
