PRATTWARE POT LID & BASE

Description: I am selling a Victorian Prattware pot lid dating to the mid 19th century. The lid is decorated with a scenic interior transfer titled “The Room in Which Shakespeare Was Born”, showing figures within a timber-framed room at Stratford-on-Avon. The title appears along the lower edge of the image.

The image has good detail throughout, and is well preserved. The glaze is bright, and there are no cracks or restoration.

The lid measures approximately 10.5 cm in diameter.

Condition: There is light wear to the rim and flange, including a few small nicks and some surface wear consistent with age and use. Please see the photographs and feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns
