Everything to Gain: Making the Most of the Rest of Your Life, written by Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter, is a 198 page, 6 1/4 X 9 1/2 inch hardcover book published by Random House, New York. The copyright date is 1987 and this is a first edition: the copyright page states "First Edition" and the printing number line starts with "2," the appropriate first edition identifier for this publisher. Both authors have signed the first free endpaper in black marker. A Doubleday Book Shops slip is laid in that states "Due to time limitations President and Mrs. Carter will only be able to autograph, and not personalize copies of their book..."

The book is in very good condition in a very good unclipped (($16.95) dustjacket, with burgundy boards and a black cloth spine.

Condition Details - The book has a square spine, a tight binding, and no marks, tears, or writing. The cover has light edgewear, no soil or stains. The textblock edges are clean. The dustjacket (in new, protective Brodart) has light edgewear and a single 1/4 inch closed tear at the bottom edge of the front panel. There are mild dampstains and toning at the jacket edges. No unpleasant odors.
