Small silver-toned metal trinket or pill box produced as a souvenir item for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). The lid is decorated with a raised maritime scene showing a lifeboat at sea with a lighthouse in the background, with RNLI lettering to the side.

The RNLI is a long-established British lifesaving charity, founded in 1824, and items like this were commonly sold as fundraising souvenirs in the late 20th century. This example appears to date to around the 1970s–1990s.

The box is made from silver-toned base metal (not marked as silver) and comes in its original clear acrylic display case. The display case shows wear including surface scratching, some discolouration, and a crack to one side. The trinket box itself is in good vintage condition, with light surface wear consistent with age. There are remnants of double-sided tape to the base where it was originally secured in the case.

Dimensions of trinket box: approximately 4 cm wide × 3.4 cm deep × 1.3 cm high.
