The only notable stains found on the business side are the 2 seen on pic # 23. There are several tiny ones, like those in pic # 22, but they are practically unconsequential for the looks of this old piece.

There are stains on the backing (see pic # 24) buy whatever caused them, the thick batting inside the quilt absorbed it and those staind DO NOT affect the business side.

The quilt has no holes, rips or busted seams, and no odors.

It measures 75" by 69" and weighs 4 lbs. unboxed. The bed in the photos is a queen, 80" by 60'.

Please notice this is a TIED quilt. The ties are pink wool yarn.

The piecing was done all by hand, both the arches and the lense-shaped white pieces between the arches, everything.

The batting is cotton, but it might be a cotton blanket or similar, as it is not "fluffy", both surfaces of the quilt, front and back, feel flat at touch.

Please notice the quilt has binding on three sides only. The edge we placed by the headboard has no binding, it is just the top and backing stitched together by machine.

The makers had many different feed sacks in their scrap box when putting together this one. There are at least two novelty prints.
