This is a vintage Sonic Drive-In porcelain sign (also known as a Sonic restaurant pump plate), measuring approximately 12 inches square. It features the classic 1963 mascot design: the happy carhop waiter in white shirt and black bow tie carrying a large sack labeled "HAM-BURGERS" with "M-M-M-M-M" speech bubble, "SONIC DRIVE-IN" at the top in red lightning bolt style with "SERVICE WITH THE SPEED OF SOUND" slogan, "Happy Eating" in cursive script, surrounding states "OKLAHOMA", "TEXAS", "KANSAS", "ARKANSAS" in black with red stars, "MADE IN U.S.A. 1963" marking — a classic Sonic Drive-In hamburger sales advertising sign.

Made of porcelain enamel on steel with patina and wear: rust spotting around the mounting holes, minor edge chips, light surface scratches, and minimal discoloration. This is a porcelain enamel advertising sign in excellent condition, exactly as shown in the photos.

This vintage Sonic Happy Eating sign makes a great addition to a garage, shop display, man cave, diner decor, or any Sonic Drive-In memorabilia collection, vintage fast food advertising collection, or retro sign collection.
