Scarlet Temple Lemurian is a rare variety of Lemurian stained pink or red with iron. It is a variety of quartz (SiO₂) with the classic trigonal lattice and well-formed prisms ending in pyramidal terminations. Its characteristic ladder-like growth lines appear along the prism faces.
