That blood-red piston, moving in full view inside an ultra-lightweight, murdered-out carbon composite housing— isn’t there to blend in. It’s the heart of the valve. A flag. A visual middle finger to the status quo. This isn’t another cast clone with a different logo; it’s what happens when one engineer refuses to accept that “good enough” was ever good enough.


Advanced Manufacturing Science = Real-World Dominance:

Forged layer by layer in the USA from chemical-resistant, industrial-grade PPA-CF composite, then post-annealed to maximize strength at 140°C (284°F) for 4 hours, every structural component is ultra-lightweight, mechanically optimized and built to withstand the heat, whether daily driving — or 25+ PSI on the track at sustained temperatures up to 192°C (381°F)

Built with all 304 stainless-steel hardware and hardened 304 stainless springs, this is not some plastic toy—it’s an automotive masterpiece. A compression-fit, self-lubricating sintered bronze sleeve provides 0.05mm tolerance for bind-free, lightning-fast movement of the hard-anodized, PTFE coated piston under all driving conditions. A Nomex-reinforced diaphragm ensures consistent lift, while a Viton-FKM O-Ring permanently encapsulated between a two-part piston delivers zero blow out by design. Engineered to open at ultra-low boost, it kills compressor surge where it actually kills turbos—daily driving. The result: sharper throttle response, faster spool, reduced turbo stress and pure, unfiltered poetry with every lift. A stainless preload adjustment screw gives you full control—soft for the street, stiff for track days, exactly how you want it.


PLATFORM-SPECIFIC, BY DESIGN

The Apex Forge FV is engineered specifically for the Hyundai–Kia platform and installs as a direct replacement for OEM BOV #28234-3L100. Heat-set inserts are permanently embedded into the composite structure, ensuring threads remain locked, repeatable, and immune to vibration, heat cycling, and real-world abuse.

ENCAPSULATED O-RING DESIGN

A Viton® FKM O-ring is permanently encapsulated between two mechanically locked halves of the 40 mm piston, eliminating seal ejection under boost. The O-ring cannot walk, deform, or blow out—by design. Paired with Viton’s resistance to heat, oil, and fuel vapor, this architecture delivers consistent sealing and response cycle after cycle.

SINTERED BRONZE SLEEVE

A hard-anodized, PTFE-coated T6061 piston runs inside a self-lubricating sintered bronze sleeve, creating a low-friction, wear-resistant interface built for heat and load. The bronze retains lubricant while PTFE minimizes stiction, and a strict 0.05mm tolerance prevents binding without introducing play—delivering fast, consistent actuation and long-term reliability under extreme conditions.
