This is for one kit, If both your tilt motor gears are broke, you will need 2 kits. The kit comes with a steel gear mounted on a custom machined shaft. This version comes with a factory style(plastic) worm gear. The weak link is the big white gear, not the little worm gear. A lifetime warranty comes with this kit. A metal on metal gear setup causes a noticeable gear whine. If you want a small steel worm gear and don't care about the extra noise see my other listing with an all steel setup.
Other brass gear kits require grinding/machining off the old gear and then drilling/pinning/glueing the new gear on which can cause major issues if not positioned correctly on the shaft.
This kit comes with a new front thrust washer and detailed instructions with colored photos. You will reuse your rear thrust washer. White lithium grease is needed to lube up the gear housing.
