1957 Press Photo Sophia Loren with Carlo Ponti announce marriage in Mexico

This is an original press photo. Fellow Italians, actress Sophia Loren and film producer Carlo Ponti, whose proxy marriage in Mexico last week was revealed today, appeared completely absorbed in one another at this reception for Sophia in Washington's Italian embassy last month. Attorneys represented the couple, neither of whom was present, in the Juarez ceremonies. Photo measures 10 x 7.75 inches. Photo is dated 9-27-1957.
