Item Details
The Rose of Sharon design is thought to be one of the oldest quilt patterns in existence. The applique style of this pattern reached its peak and the height of it’s popularity during the 1800's. This is a hand pierced, all cotton original quilt used for an end of the bed runner, pillow cover or a table runner. It's condition is very good for such an old piece, it shows some age and light fading of colors, overall it is a great looking handmade antique textile.
