A fully polished Moroccan Goniatite Ammonite Fossil which Google image search is telling me is likely Devonian period and circa 400m years old.

I bought a group of ammonite fossils five years or so ago at auction, more for the aesthetics than anything else, which I'm now listing as I downsize. Its important then to say that I'm not expert and to that extent its very important that bidders look closely at the detailed photographs to satisfy themselves that I have correctly identified the specimen, that my description is a fair one, and that it meets what they are looking for quality wise if I can use that expression.

What I can say with certainty is that the fossil is fully polished on both sides and that it measures 17.5 cm across at the widest point and is approx 3.5cm in depth. To my untrained eye at least it appears well finished and overall I would say that it is in super condition.
