About the item: Kept in climate controlled smoke free storage. The train has been opened and ran, most recently to show it works properly for sale. I have not personally repaired or replaced any part of this locomotive/tender.
Seller condition comments: This sites definitions of new and used items do not translate to model trains. Therefore to save us both the headache there are several questions to ask yourself BEFORE buying model trains from me (or anyone).
1. What is the overall condition of the train-use the Train Collectors Association (TCA) to grade all of my trains. This grading system describes the physical condition of the train, it DOES NOT take into account working status of the train.
2. Does the train work- Unless my description clearly states the train was TESTED, WORKING you CANNOT assume the train works. Model train components are sensitive to moisture, temperature, etc and even factory new trains might not work as intended. This is life, which is why there is a 14 day return on all of my trains.
Shipping: Please let me know before purchase if you would like a shipping service not listed. I will combine shipping. If you have any specific packaging requests you must notify at the time of purchase. I do not control the speed or have any control how fast the item gets to you once it is shipped. I will only ship to verified addresses associated with buyers account.
