Nikon DW-4 Waist level Finder
for the Nikon F3

Up for bids is this modified version of DW-4 viewfinder for exacting duplication, photomicrography, scientific research or astronomical photography. Its 6-element optics magnify the entire image (including data readouts) at a 6X magnification. It also features a built in -5 to +3 diopter adjustment to assure highest accuracy and comfort level. The finder is designed for use with the F3, F3T, F3P cameras. This special modified version was built primarily for opthamology use on a fundus camera. It features a 90 degree viewfinder as opposed to a 'top down' view like on the commercial finder. It also has had a rubber hood cemented to it to prevent extranneous light from adversely affecting its critical use.

This item is in excellent condition. Optics are clear. Mechanically working properly. Rubber eyecup is a bit distorted from mounting. White cement is visible where is joins. Finder comes exactly as pictured
