Assembly Instructions: This kit requires gutting and trimming the inside of the center console. The instructions will not cover either of these steps. Please refer to some of our pictures for a rough idea of what is cut away. Bolt the transmission adapter onto the shift tower with the two M8 bolts and nuts. The adapter should bolt to the LH side of the OE shift tower. Assemble the new shifter using one jamb nut and one heim joint. The jamb nut and heim joint should be threaded all the way onto the shifter. Tighten the jamb nut onto the heim joint to lock it in place. (This can be adjusted later) Install the floor bracket using one existing OEM bolt and two supplied 1/4" self tapping screws. The long slot will be on the passenger side. The two 1/4" self tapping screws should be used on the long slot. Place them so there is some adjustment right to left. A good place to start is about 3/8" of the slot showing on the drivers side after the factory bolt has been installed. Assemble the shifter onto the floor bracket using the bottom most hole. Use the long 1/2" bolt, two heim joint spacers (one on each side of the heim joint) and two washers. The floor bracket will rise on the passenger side of the shifter. So from the passenger side to the drivers side the bolt should have: Washer, floor bracket, cone spacer, heim joint, cone spacer, washer, nut. Using the two short 1/2" bolts and nuts, install the linkage using the middle hole on the shifter. Be sure to lubricate the faces and holes of the linkage with grease. Blue thread locking compound on the nuts is recommended but wait until final assembly to apply. Make the linkage bolts snug but not too tight. Tightness of linkage bolts will change how the shifter feels. Check for shifter clearance. You may need to adjust the floor bracket left to right. If the bracket cannot be cheated enough using the slots then washers can be used on the 1/2" bolt to space the heim joint towards the drivers side. This will help avoid unnecessary holes in the floor. Adjustments of linkage: Using the highest hole on the shifter will decrease throw. Using the lowest hole will increase throw. The shifter linkage is designed for use with the middle hole although we left the top and bottom holes to allow for some customizing if desired. Once you are happy with the set up of the shifter and linkage don't forget to apply thread locking compound to the linkage nuts. Install the shifter boot by trimming the tray. Any type of ~1/8" thick plastic (not included) can be used to sandwich the shifter boot to the plastic on the inside of the cup holder. The layers go, plastic cup holder, shift boot, plastic. Fasten with short self tapping screws of a large diameter from the inside out. Now cut or grind the excess length of the screws sticking out where the cup holder tray slides into the console. The top of the shift boot can be tucked into itself for a better finished look. A few threads may need to be pulled depending where you want the boot to sit. Electrical tape can be used on the inside of the shifter to prevent the boot from sliding down too far. Or if you prefer the boot can be taped to the shifter on the underside after folding the top in.

Q: Can you customize an item?


A: Unfortunately most items are not built to order. Customizing the material, design etc. can easily double the cost. 





Q: Can I preorder an out of stock item?


A:  Unfortunately we do not accept preorders.





Q: When will I receive my order?


A: Most orders are shipped within 24-48 hours of order placement. Our carriers pick up packages at our shop daily around 9am-10am EST. We work hard to get most orders that are placed the night before processed by the next morning. You can find tracking information in your email.





Q: Can I purchase this item in a custom color or raw?


A: We are sorry, at this time we do not offer custom colors or a raw finish unless it is specifically listed as an option on that item.





Q: I ordered a CAT Adapter and my fuel system wont prime. What do I do?


A: Our adapters are designed for maximum flow to prevent fuel starvation. This means the drain back valve (AKA ball & spring) must be removed from the OEM filter housing.

International customs and duty fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are to be paid in full by the buyer/purchaser.





Returns:
 A 30 day return period is available on all items. Items must be returned in original packaging and in unused, resellable condition. 
We withhold the right to charge a restocking fee
 on all returns up to any amount. This restocking fee is used to cover outgoing shipping and handling costs. In the case of an item being returned in used or damaged condition we withhold the right to refuse the return or increase the restocking fee as applicable on a case by case scenario. In the event the wrong item is returned (i.e. an item from another vender) we withhold the right to refuse the return and/or credit of any funds.





Warranties:
 If an item has a manufacturing defect please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you! In the case of an item failing please contact us for support. Warranties vary by item. We withhold the right to refuse warranties in the case of neglect, misuse, acts of god, extreme weather and factors out of our control. It is the buyer and/or user's responsibility to use the product(s) in the manner they were designed for. We withhold the right to review all warranties on a case by case basis in which we may grant or decline warranty. We do not imply a warranty on all items. Some items might be sold without a warranty whatsoever. Additionally we may require vehicle data at the time of warranty filing such as a full VIN number, vehicle year, make, mileage etc.

 Adding performance products to any vehicle can alter horsepower, handling, shifting and other aspects experienced when driving. We shall not be held liable for accidents when operating an altered vehicle.

All parts are to be installed by a professionally trained mechanic. We shall not be held liable for poor installation workmanship or faulty installation. We shall not be held liable for accidents occurring during installation. Furthermore we shall not be held liable for accidents occurring due to poor workmanship.




When increasing the performance of an engine the lifespan of that engine may decrease or undertake excessive stress causing premature failure. We shall not be held liable for engine failures or accidents regarding engine failures due to increased performance. It is solely the owner and/or operator who shall take responsibility for increasing the performance of their vehicle. They shall have an understanding of how increasing the performance may push certain engineering aspects to the limit on that vehicle and/or engine. Examples of these weak points are, but are not limited to: U-Joints, Axles, Transmissions, Connecting Rods, Head Gaskets.





Arbitration Agreement:
 Any dispute or claim relating in any way to your use of products or services offered, sold or distributed by KB Diesel Performance will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court. We each agree that any disputes will be filed only on an individual basis and not as a class filing.





Privacy Policy:
 We collect information from you when you place an order with us. This information is data such as your name, address, phone number, credit card info etc. 
We do not, and will not sell your information.
 Your information may be available to those who we do business with on an as needed basis. For example: If your credit card is processed by a payment processor they will have access to your information. In another example: If one of our vendors drop ships a package to you, they will have access to your name and address. We take your privacy seriously and do not share any information with anyone unless it is needed to conduct business.
