This lovely lady is made by the German manufacturer. She has a visible mark Germany on her shoulder head and there is more letters i can see down below under the leather but i can’t tell what they say and don’t want to damage the leather of the body. The doll, however, has a small tag attached that has a name “Mabel” written on it and the doll very much resembles the Mabel doll made by Armand Marseille in 1900s.

The doll is 17” tall. Her beautiful cheeks are hand painted to create a warm and lovely blush. Bisque has no chips or restoration but there is a tiny hairline above her eyebrow that can’t really be seen. (Check pics please). Her original glass eyes are hazel-brown color and they open and close with the rocking mechanism. Open mouth with four teeth and she has a dimple on her chin.

Her body is in a great condition, knowing that she is more than 100 years old. It seems to be nicely and professionally repaired in the past. Her bisque hands have some chipping.

She comes with a blond curly wig, wonderfully intricate and detailed hand stitched lacy velvet dress, and delicate handmade undergarments.
