Here’s an impressive example of a US Navy Officer Jacket. This example is in very nice condition overall, and is complete with the shoulder rank insignia. One of the rank insignia is missing the shoulder button, visible in the photos. All other buttons are present. This jacket show minimal wear throughout, with only a couple age spots shown in the photos. Very lightweight style material, and possibly an early synthetic silk or polyester. Japanese theater made tailor label on the interior for the Navy Exchange Tailor Shop in Yokosuka, Japan. Named to "E.D. King" on the interior as well. No size labels, though this one measures roughly 20 inches from pit to pit, and around 29 inches from the shoulder down. A great privately made piece perfect for a display with potential research!
