This is an antique (late 1800's-1900) religious hardback book written by Professor Georg Sverdrup, theologian.
It is written in Norwegian and the title is:
Salmernes Bog. Matt. Ev., Hebr. Bre't Jakobs Bre and translates to: Book or Psalms, Gospel of Matthew, Epistle to the Hebrews, Epistle of James.
Georg Sverdrup was a professor and a Norwegian Lutheran theologian during the latter 1800's; he had written some works and this book looks to be an examination of Lutheran theology (his views I think.) The little bit I could translate seemed to be his take on the New Testament.
The book doesn't have a date or publisher listed and I couldn't find much info. about it though it is from the later 1800's to 1900.
It appears he wrote it himself so it should be a valuable source of information for those interested in (Norwegian) Lutheranism.
CONDITION: Over 100 years' old, written in NORWEGIAN or DANISH, binding shows some wear, there is some browning around the perimeters (mostly the front and back inside title pages), some of the pages are rippled and a bit loose, there are 4 pages that have minor underlining, the text looks typewritten & is on very silky feeling paper.
The book was in with a collection of other antique Lutheran works.
Let me know if you have any questions!
