I have listed this as coming from Germany as there is a label on the back with German details but also reference to Jerusalem I am not sure either way so I shall let the buyer decide.
The portrait is of. Young Jewish girl Circa 1929 assuming the young girl names Sussana Friedman was in Germany at the time of painting one can only wonder what her story is, she I would say around possibly 4 to 5 years old in this picture making her early teens when the War broke out and that is all I know……or alternatively she could have been painted whilst in Jerusalem????
Other than that I know no more.

Thank you for looking should you require any further details please message me I endeavour to return to you within a time frame of 24 hours.
