Up for auction is a tin friction 1959 Buick fire chief convertible made by Ichiko of Japan. The car measures 11 inches long and it is in complete condition. The car is all original with the exception of the front antenna that was made for this car. (The last photo shows the Buick as pictured on page 54 of the great Big Book of Tin Toy Cars Commercial and Racing Vehicles.) The car is in very good condition with very nice color and shiny chrome trim. There are a few small paint touchups, nothing major. The friction motor works well and it turns the light on the hood of the car when the wheels are in motion. Here is a large, very detailed 59 Buick in very good condition. Thanks for looking!!!!
