A genuine antique School Award Token, featuring the bust of Princess Charlotte (1796 - 1817) on the obverse.

The reverse shows a design centering on "One Decem" with the figure 1/10.

A small token that was given to deserving pupils for good work at school. It could be redeemed for money or spent in the school shop.

Princess Charlotte was the only daughter of the Prince of Wales, who became George IV. She died young before she could take her place on the throne as Queen of England.

Size: the diameter of the token is approx. 2cms. 

Condition: I have not attempted to clean this. So, a little grubby, but with good detail. I suspect it would shine up well. Please study my photographs.
