Side to side is 23mm, with a lug to lug width of 36mm and thickness of 7mm. Lug width is 17mm.

This Rolex comes on a generic strap and Delugs yellow buckle (isn't gold). No box or papers.
Our Review
We are fortunate to own (we own all of our stock, we don’t sell watches on consignment) and enjoy a lot of our watches before we list, meaning we have first hand experience of this piece.
This one has a very special charm about it. On the wrist it feels light, fitting nicely because of the case size. On a 6.8 inch wrist, it doesn't feel too small with its sensible lug to lug of 36mm.
It was a joy wearing this piece, knowing this watch has been on a lot of journeys over its 87 years. It is rare to see vintage Rolex's of this age which can still be worn and enjoyed on the wrist. It wouldn't be a great daily but one that would more be worn for specialise occasions or to feel closer to the horological side of watches.

Mainspring Watches UK
Incorporated on Christmas Eve 2021 by us, Tristan and Jay.
We both love everything about watches, having owned them for many years! Tristan got hooked in 2013 with the purchase of a stunning Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece MP6439, and Jay started more recently with a Tag Heuer WK1110, a classic diver watch!
With us being family, we share a unique bond that complements our shared experience both at work and in our passions.
We opened our beautiful Farnborough HQ in August 2022 for appointment-only viewings and a place for our customers to meet us, talk watches, and see what we have in stock.
We are going big! Start off by giving us a follow on eBay, with weekly updates on our incredible selection. We always aim to buy what we love and would wear, putting our own neediness and relentless passion into every purchase we make. If we aren't fans and wouldn't wear it, we don't buy it, simple!

Collection.
It's always lovely to meet our customers, have a coffee, and talk watches, so why not collect? Collection is available via appointment only at our Farnborough (Hampshire) HQ. We are able to facilitate Monday-Sunday appointments, please get in touch to book.
Delivery.
Watch orders are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery. All other orders are sent Royal Mail Tracked Signed For, with the option for Special Delivery at checkout. Please allow longer arrival times for watches over £1,500 due to the eBay Authenticity Program. If you have any questions about delivery or urgency, let us know, and we will work with you and your timeframes.
International.
We use the eBay Global Shipping Program for any international orders. At checkout, eBay will add on the applicable charges. We don't charge for shipping costs, this is an eBay added cost rather than ours.
Servicing
We are incredibly fortunate to have a wonderful watchmaker, someone who takes great pride in their work. If you have a piece that is in need of a service or some care, below are the options we offer.
Full Service: A full service on a non-complication watch (date only) is £299, taking 1-2 weeks for completion. A watch with a complication (chronograph for example) is £399, taking 1-2 weeks for completion.
Battery Replacement: Quartz battery replacement, including a deep clean of your watch. Costing £99, with a 1-2 week turnaround.
Professional Clean: We can deep clean your watch, bringing that shine back but without the polish. This is a great option ahead of a potential sale. This costs £99 and has a 1 week turnaround time.
Polish and Clean: If you are looking to get rid of marks on your watch, we offer a light polishing and cleaning service. This costs £129 and takes 1-2 weeks to complete.
Rebuild Service: Some watches can sustain serious damage, finding a competent watchmaker to complete can be tricky. Dropped or water damage, we can offer a complete overhaul, bringing your cherished piece back to life. Pricing and time to complete will depend on the task. Get in touch for more details on this.

Selling directly to us.
You'll always get the most value from your watch by selling it privately, however this can take quite some time, and involves answering customer queries and can sometimes be time prohibitive. We buy all luxury watches, just let us know the model, reference number, condition, strap configuration and whether it has box and papers, and we will happily make you an offer. This is the fastest and easiest way to extract value from your watch.
