This Civil War cover depicts a scene from one of the earliest battles of the war, the Battle of Boonville, with Brigadier General Nathaniel Lyon (lion) charging the CSA and Missouri Governor Jackson (donkey) with Major Gen'l Sterling Price also represented.  Some stains with paper residue seen on the reverse side.  Partially sealed on reverse.  Thanks for looking at this auction.
