The MD 8000.1 2-ohm amplifier module was carefully developed with the highest technology, offering high efficiency and performance for a wide variety of car audio systems.

Its wide frequency response of 10Hz ~ 10kHz (-3dB) allows it to be used with a variety of speaker models, such as subwoofers, woofers, mid-bass, mid-range, and phenolic drivers. Available in 1 or 2 ohm versions, it is classified as a mono amplifier, meaning it has one channel with a maximum power of 8000 watts RMS.

Due to its versatility, it can be installed in cars, vans, pickups, SUVs to amplify interior sound, such as trunk sound systems or the popular "trio" speaker boxes, among other automotive projects such as use in sound walls, "trio goiano" systems, open trunk sound systems, bob boxes, home speakers, etc.

The power you're looking for in your sound system is here!

Technical Specifications:

• Operating Class: Class D.

This indicates the amplifier's construction. Class D (also called digital) amplifiers, due to the PWM (pulse width modulation) used in their operation, allow for a small, efficient amplifier with reduced heat generation compared to other construction classes.

• Number of Channels: 1.

Number of channels for use in your project. With this specific model, you have the option of connecting only 1 channel.

• Power @12.6V – 2 ohms: 8000W RMS.

The power, at 12.6V, is related to the vehicle/power supply operating conditions.

• Power @12.6V – 4 ohms: 5120W RMS.

The power, at 12.6V, is related to the vehicle/power supply operating conditions.

• Minimum output impedance: 2 ohms.
Association with the speaker output, where, for example, we can connect two 4-ohm speakers or four 8-ohm speakers to the channel for this result.

• Minimum output impedance: 4 ohms.
Association with the speaker output, where, for example, we can connect two 8-ohm speakers to the channel for this result.

• Minimum input sensitivity: 220mv.
Lowest voltage required for maximum output with the amplifier, meaning that even with low radio volume, we can achieve good results.

• Frequency response: 10hz ~ 10khz (-3db).

With the frequency response, it's possible to identify the amplifier's application, as well as whether the speaker or any other type of transducer you're using is within that response, meaning that we can use this product in your project.

• Variable low-pass crossover (LPF): 90Hz ~ 10kHz.

LPF, or low-pass filter, means that everything below this reference frequency is reproduced, and everything above this indication is not used. A common use of this function is to reduce the presence of vocals in subwoofers.

• Variable high-pass crossover (HPF): 10Hz ~ 90Hz.

HPF, or high-pass filter, means that everything above this reference frequency is reproduced. A common use of this function is to reduce the presence of bass in door speakers, for example.

Bass boost: frequency: 35Hz ~ 55Hz (boost: 0 ~ 10dB (50Hz)).
Bass boost is the bass reinforcement for the amplifier's sub-channel, that is, an "extra" boost for the bass.

• Supply voltage: 9 to 16V.
This indicates the amplifier's operating voltage, specifying the minimum and maximum voltage required for its operation. Outside of this specification, it will not turn on or will activate a protection circuit.

• Standby current consumption: 2.5A.
This is the reference current consumption of the amplifier when turned on and without music.

• Maximum musical current consumption: @12.6VDC: 364.90A.
This is the estimated current consumption of the amplifier working at minimum impedance, playing music at maximum volume.

• Maximum current consumption with sinusoidal signal: @12.6VDC: 729.80A.
Reference for bench/laboratory tests under specific conditions with resistive load, fixed frequency, and power supply. Stable.

• Protection system: output short circuit, output short circuit to ground, low impedance protection, high/low voltage protection, and thermal protection.

This system exists to protect the amplifier's operation. It may be related to the output, when there are connections below the minimum impedance, a short circuit in the installation, or even speakers with problems.

This protection may also occur due to voltages outside the operating range.

• Dimensions: width 22.8cm x height 7cm x depth 41.9cm.
Extreme product dimensions.

• Weight: 6.10kg.
Gross weight of the amplifier.
