They are brand new, never used, and new in box. The box is felted on the outside, with 2 wooden sticks to close, and the inside has individual padding to protect each cup. 

The cups are Chinese, of Chinese clay. 

The first cup is tan color, with chinese characters engraved on the side, and a striped cat and flowers engraved on the other side. The bottom is engraved with good luck and prosperity sayings/ phrases 

The second cup is a deep red almost brown color, with chinese characters engraved on the side, and pair of cats and flowers engraved on the other side. The bottom is engraved with good luck and prosperity sayings/ phrases 

Both cups are about 3 inches wide (2.5 inch base), 2  inches tall. Each cup is hefty and has a solid weight to it with a thick wall. The lips are curved and fit nicely in your hands
