Very good overall condition with some minor scuffs to wood, as shown in photo. Has mounting hole on rear and medallion is removable. Approximate 6”x8” overall dimensions.

The USS Van Voorhis (DE-1028) was a Dealey-class destroyer escort, a ship of the United States Navy named for Commander Bruce Van Voorhis (1908–1942), a naval aviator who was awarded the Medal of Honor posthumously for action in the Eastern Caroline Islands.
