Absolutely beautiful copy of the rare 1972 private pressing of Philip “Gabby” Pahinui’s “Gabby” LP on Panini Productions PS-1002. Classic Hawaiian slack-key player with his incredible family band, released independently on their own home-grown label. For many this is Gabby’s finest recording, among 40 years of recordings he made. Absolutely lovely record. The disc is in just beautiful condition and plays completely flawlessly and just beautifully. A tiny bit of superficial scuffing but barely at all. It doesn’t affect the play in the least and is barely even visible. A beautiful disc. The textured gatefold cover is likewise nearly pristine, with only the lightest signs of gentle use. A truly top, top copy.

I’m throwing in a copy of Gabby’s “Gabby Band Vol. II” LP from 1977 on Panini PS-1008. Still in the shrinkwrap and nice looking on the outside BUT the disc has some heat damage and the first track or two on each side is basically unplayable. The rest of the record plays perfectly but the damage sort of ruins this copy, even though it looks lovely and still plays if you put the needle a little way in. Anyhow it’s free. You might find some use in it.
