 I am often asked what microscope would I recommend for someone on a budget that doesn't want to spend $350 on one of our Cadillac Nikons

This is definitely the package, optic wise it gives just as good of viewing as our Nikon, it's not a sleek modern looking of a microscope as our Nikon and the controls don't feel quite as Cadillac but it will definitely get the job done, I was really surprised at how well these actually perform going toe to toe with a Nikon Alphaphot!
