Unofficial USPS, Scott # 1452, Yellowstone Park Centennial Page, with March 1, 1972, First Day Cancel.  The Scott number for the souvenir page is SP305var. The USPS number for the page is (19)72-01var.

  

Each Official page has a watermark and is on heavy paper (7 grams vs. 5 grams for the unofficials).  

 

Unofficial pages were also prepared by collectors and dealers on lighter weight bulletin pages w/o the watermark.  In some cases these pages are tri-folded, but flat unofficial pages like this one are also known.  

               

 Condition is shown in the pics.  The page is post office fresh with little if any toning.

         


The 2022 Scott catalog values the official page at $80.00; 2021 Brookman has $120.  No price is given for the unofficials.
