Known to collectors as a classic Japanese export piece from the 1950s–1970s – thousands of nearly identical deer were produced for the American market, yet pristine examples like this one have become increasingly hard to find.

This deer is in outstanding near-mint vintage condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, hairlines, or repairs. The glossy white glaze remains brilliant and flawless, with only microscopic shelf soil on the unglazed bottom rim — essentially as clean as the day it left the kiln. An exceptional display example.
