-HOn3 Scale-

This model was imported by Westside.  It is painted and lettered for Denver and Rio Grande Western #375.

A Soundtraxx Blunami DCC decoder is in the tender.  There is also a TCS keep alive capacitor, resistors for lights, and a speaker in the tender.

TCS six pin connector is between the engine and tender.

Micro Scale decals.

Headlight is equipped with a LED and MV Products lens.

Firebox flicker light (12 volt bulb) is on the green wire.

Original can motor.

The gearbox has a Northwest Short Line Delrin idler gear installed instead of the original brass gear for long life.

Real coal is on a removable plastic base.  (The brass bunker floor is still in place).

Crew.

Window glazing in the cab side windows.

Kadee couplers front and rear.

Original red Westside box in good condition.

DCC Address is "375".

The speaker is 1 Watt, the amplifier is 2 Watts, so do not turn the volume up to maximum value.

Note:  The Blunami decoder works best on a regular DCC signal track power or smooth / filtered DC power (such an electronics lab power supply or a battery).  The Blunami will switch between the two automatically with a power reboot.  (A MRC power pack is pulsed DC power, so it is not recommended by Soundtraxx.)

The model runs well on a circle of track with 19 inch radius curves in both directions and through a couple of Shinohara #6 turnouts.
