SEIKO is one of few watch brands who make every single parts needed for watches (from a small single screw or electric parts to luxurious precious metal case) by their own.
And, of course, they are the game-changer in watch history, "Quartz Shock", with the world's first quartz watch in 1969.

This is a convenient clock with auto light function (night mode).
When surrounding becomes darker, the clock lights up automatically in dim brightness.
To conserve the battery or not wanting to be disturbed by the light, you can just turn the night mode off.
And, the silent sweep second hand assures you a better sleep. 
In case, you need more legibility, you can manually adjust the brightness by pressing button. 
The distinctive fluorescent yellow lens is also installed to condense surrounding lights and diffuse it inside for better legibility.
