1969 Press Photo Test fire of first stage booster of Apollo-Saturn S-1C-90
This is an original press photo. First Stage Booster of the Apollo-Saturn launch vehicle S-1C-90 was successfully test fired at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's Mississippi Test Facility near Bay St. Louis. The booster was fired for 125 seconds, norman burn time at actual launching. The test developed 7.5 million pounds of thrust. Photo measures 8 x 9 inches. Photo is dated 02-21-1969.
